Hannah Fridholm creates sculptural assemblages created from ceramic and found objects. In her exhibition she offers a space for reverence and contemplation in which the viewer can reflect on their own emotions, hold on to a moment, remember a time, a feeling. The act preservation – holding onto something, encapsulating it and cherishing it is a major part of the process when she is creating her work. Personal shrines and altars reveal the fragility of life, leaving us glimpses of what is left behind.
Armor’s Ashes, aligns the emotional and psychological aspects of mortality and the universal experience of grief. She creates sculptural assemblages created from ceramic and found objects. Her work navigates the raw responses to loss and allows the viewer to connect with their sensibilities.
